Typically, those with larger spaces in their home would see various units differently than those with smaller spaces, and visa versa! it’s all about what works best for you, your needs and your space!
Both set-ups are similar with their electric recliners, power headrests, colour and stitching, but the physical structure is very clearly different!
A corner unit can be more suited to those who want: ✨ space optimisation ✨ versatility ✨ a modern aesthetic
Whereas a more traditional, 3-2-1 set up is more suitable for those that want: ✨ an ease of placement ✨ accessibility ✨ design flexibility

Here’s a quick, easy way to spice up your surfaces!
When setting up a space — dining, living, bedroom… — it’s important to remember the rule of threes when styling!
Sometimes called the triangle rule because of it’s shape and flow, the rule of threes cannot be more simple!
When thinking of a triangle, we have the highest point and two lower/flatter points — 3 angles and 3 sides to play with!
If you follow the general shape of a triangle, or think of items in groups of 3, your centre-piece will be ready to go!
Follow these steps for ultimate success:
• pick a tray to compliment your setting! • identify three objects of varying sizes • place the tallest to the back and the smallest at the front • fill in the side with a medium side object!
And TA-DAA! You have a beautiful centre-piece ready for use 😉
Do you like putting a centre-piece on your dining table?
If you’re anything like us here at Michael Murphy Home Furnishing, you are fond of a centre-piece with various elements!
We have two candle-stick holders in a golden-brass colour of varying heights to create some dimension, and a cute brass bee! 🐝
